Who we serve

White Glove Counseling handles licensing for professional counselors (LPC, LMHC, LCPC, LPCC and every other state title), their associate licenses, and addiction counselors. Where the Counseling Compact is live, a privilege can replace a full license; where it is not, we file the license. Marriage and family therapists are served by our sister team at whiteglovemft.com, and psychologists at whiteglovepsypact.com.

The Counseling Compact

Counseling Compact Readiness Review

$149 one-time

Before you spend anything: is your home-state license at the independent level, is your home state live, are the states you want issuing privileges, and does any of them add a jurisprudence exam. Where a privilege will not work, we tell you which full license will. Credited if you go ahead.

Compact Privilege Concierge — First State

$299 per privilege

The Compact requires you to complete and submit the privilege application yourself, so we do everything around it: the eligibility audit, jurisprudence prep where the state requires it, a guided CompactConnect session with you at the keyboard, and tracking so the privilege renews with your home license.

Each Additional Compact Privilege

$149 per privilege

Further privileges in the same order. Once your home file is verified, each extra state is mostly its own fee and any jurisprudence exam, so it costs less.

Full State Licenses

License by Endorsement

$499 per state

For states with an endorsement route for counselors already licensed elsewhere. The board checks your license and record instead of re-evaluating your degree, hours and exam, so it is less work than a fresh application. We confirm the route fits your file before you pay the board, then file it end to end.

Full State License Application

$749 per state

For states that evaluate the file from scratch, including California, Texas and New York. We screen your exam (some states take only the NCMHCE), coursework against the state's content areas and your supervised-hours documentation before you pay a non-refundable fee, then file and carry the board correspondence.

Jurisprudence & Law and Ethics Exam Support

$249 per state

Many states require an exam on their own statutes and rules, for a license and sometimes for a Compact privilege. California's Law and Ethics exam is the best known. We book it, prepare you on that state's rules and file the result.

Associates and Addiction Counselors

Associate-to-Independent License Upgrade

$299 one-time

Finishing your supervised hours is when the paperwork piles up: hour logs, supervisor attestations, exam results and the upgrade application itself. We assemble and file it so your independent license issues without a gap.

Addiction Counselor Reciprocity (IC&RC)

$499 per state

For addiction counselors moving an IC&RC-recognized credential to another member board. The Counseling Compact does not cover addiction credentials, so reciprocity is the route.

Full Addiction Counselor Application

$749 per state

Where reciprocity does not apply, or the state's addiction credential is a license with its own board. Same end-to-end handling as a full counselor application.

Renewals

Annual Renewal & CE Compliance

$199 per year

Every license renews on its own date with its own continuing-education rules, and Compact privileges renew with your home license. We keep one calendar across all of them, log CE against each state's rules and file ahead of every deadline.

Important Fee Notice

(Prices above do not include the following)

The prices listed above reflect our service fees only. Additional costs paid directly to third parties — these are set by the state boards, the Counseling Compact Commission and NBCC, and they change from time to time, so we confirm the current schedule at intake:

  • State license fees — vary widely by board, are non-refundable, and are charged again at each renewal. Confirm the current schedule before you file.
  • Compact privilege fees — the Commission's $30 per privilege plus each state's own fee, paid by you in CompactConnect.
  • Board application fee — paid to the destination board, and not refundable if the application fails.
  • Jurisprudence exam fee — where the state requires an exam on its own statutes, charged separately and on its own schedule.
  • Exam score transfers — NBCC charges to send your NCE or NCMHCE result to a new board.
  • Official transcripts — charged by your program, and most boards require them sent directly by the institution rather than forwarded by you.
  • Fingerprinting — $30–$70 in state vendor fees; more for out-of-state hard-card processing.
  • Notary, courier, and state renewal fees — where a third party is involved.

One thing worth being explicit about: a license is not payer enrollment. Getting paid in a new state is a separate exercise, per-payer, and it frequently takes longer than the license did. It is handled by our sister team at whiteglovecredentialing.com. See how the Counseling Compact works for the full picture.
